100 years of National Awakening held on Istora Senayan a.k.a Gelora Bung Karno. This place is named after Indonesian's first and respectable President named Soekarno. This stadium has held a lot of important international event. One of it was the match between Bayern Muenchen Football Team versus Indonesian's National Football Team. On may 20th 2008, Agnes proofed that she has perfectly transformed from a children singer in to a respectable singer. Unlike other event, to be able to participate in this event, the singer are directly chosen by Indonesian's President. She is succesfully sang "Merah Putih" which composed by Indonesian Famous composer Gombloh along with 5000 members of University of Indonesia Choir. More over, for this event she wore a "batik" costume which designed by Anne Avantie, one of Indonesian famous designer ( to be noted Anne Avantie is the fashion designer for Miss Indonesia in the Miss Universe Beauty Peagant ).

Asian Song Festival which held in Seoul, South Korea. Asia Song Festival is an international event which gathered Asian Singer in one stage. This is a very important moment, since she sang in front of Korean peoples which unfamiliar with Indonesian singer. In 2007, one of Indonesian's most famous Band named Peterpan is the chosen one. Appeared in the main stage along with the others famous stars like DBSK (Korea), Fahrenheit (Taiwan), she is also successfully performed. She sang " Godai Aku Lagi " and the unreleased track from her upcoming album called " Shake It Off ". Both of the song are composed by Agnes Monica herself. Most importantly, on " Shake It Off " performance, she also used Balinese Traditional Dance. This is another interesting culture mix from her (watch Agnes Monica performance on Asian Idol 2007 for another culture mix). The result from her performance ? It can be said that she has done well enough there.

One of the most unique film festival party that I have ever attended, almost everyone was in costume…except me! The leading cast like Marsha Timothy, Fachri Albar and film director Joko Anwar were there and they gave a little hint about the movie. I think the film is worth the wait, even the poster looks promising and sort of immediately gave me an idea of what the film is all about.
