During her MJ Tribute performance on last Tuesday, Agnes Monica delivered a speech. And since I have a lot of spare time, I wil post it here :
There were a lot of things that had happened and still happening to our world.
The very world we are living in, we are forced to believe that there's no lives anymore.
That this condition is the best we can get.
FIGHT, DISCRIMINATION, WAR, KILLINGS, BOMBS, TERRORISM
And so many other bad things, we were tempted to believe in what I called NO LOVE.
But I refuse to give in to that. I refuse to believe that there's NO LOVE in our heart.
In our little space right here I still believe in ..
SYMPATHY, CARING, AFFECTION, and TOUCH.
We are created to give not to take away, together and not to divorce, to unite and not to divide,
and most importantly we are created to LOVE and TO BE LOVED.

 Today was a bright day for me. First, Insert Investigasi (one of TRANS TV variety shows showed one of the contents on agnezone.com news section that talked about TRANS 8ISA anniversary. Though it was only displayed for a couple of seconds, I felt appreciated. Secondly, because Agnes Monica finally performed "Temperature" in that show. Before talking about her performance, let's talk about the overall show. If you observed it , you must be aware that all of the performers were wearing colourful clothes and reminded us of circus. Yup, that's the theme of this year's anniversary. And I have to admit that TRANS corp. always hold an event professionally, they got the stage, the lightning, and even the camera right. It seems like the other TV stations has to learn a lot from Trans corp. Back to Agnes Monica, in total, she performed 3 times: Temperature, Teruskanlah, and Tribute To Michael Jackson (Smooth Criminal, Beat It, I'll be There, I Want You Back, and Heal the World). My personal favorite was, of course, the Michael Jackson Tribute! It was a big surprise, she showed that she can dance and sing, two thumbs up for her. And for the critics, just shut your mouth and don't compare Agnes Monica to MJ. Everyone know he's a legend, but that doesn't mean that other artist can't make a tribute fo him. Try to appreciate your own local artist just for once.  Agnes Monica rocked Surabaya tonight. A big thanks to BRI who is kind enough to invite Agnes in their event. After 2 years absent, this was my first experience watching Agnes performed live. And I can say that she is absolutely stunning. She sang 8 songs (not in order) : Temperature, Matahariku, Teruskanlah, Hanya Menunggu, Cinta Di Ujung Jalan, Ku Tlah Jatuh Cinta, Godai Aku Lagi, and Janji-Janji. Big praise to Agnes Monica fans in Surabaya, all of you make me feel the spirit again. Meanwhile, while I'm waiting for the HQ pictures, you can enjoy Agnes Monica performance on ADIRA CINTA INDONESIA which aired tonight on TRANS 7. Thanks to yeyen_blastoop

 Please, make sure that you are at home on Tuesday, December 15th 2009. Agnes Monica is scheduled to appear in TRANS TV 8th Anniversary, this year the theme is " TRANS 8ISA - Indonesia Bisa" . And, for sure the performance will be spectacular and different. I honestly expect that "Temperature" will be performed live on that day. But, oh well Agnes Monica has the ability to surprise us, always ! So, let's wait and see. |
