Agnes Monica brings 1 award home from Shorty Awards 2012. She got the "Vox Populli Awards". What is Vox Populli Awards means?

It means, Agnes Monica got the highest votes on each category even passing the votes of Justin Bieber. Now, some of you might questioned..why didn't Agnes Monica win on other category if she got the highest votes. Well, Shorty Awards also has official judges, and they are the one who has the final power to choose the winner for each category. 

But, lets be happy with this achievement. And Thanks to the fans for making Agnes Monica able to stand on the stage. Agnes Monica also gave an inspiring speech for her winning acceptance :

"I want to thank JESUS for being my Lord and my Saviour. I'm originally from Indonesia and I'm not from here. And I don't know if you notice it or not but for someone living in a developing country I've seen many people being forced to believe that their life can't get any better thats just the best that they can have. A lot of people gives up dreaming let alone believing the dreams. But here I am, making it happen. This awards is bigger than just an award. Its a proof that its possible after all no matter where you come from. Thanks Shorty Awards for helping me shows my fans. 

I dedicate this award to my Mom and my Brother for being my true inspiration, my fans for believing in my journey. Dreams, Believe and Make it Happen".
